		<description>Hi Carrot, sorry for the delay in replying - I&#039;ve not been around in a while.

I got the mandolin second hand at the time for around £750, so not too bad (especially now since they&#039;re about £1300 new or so!!).

Regrettably I sold it on last year to help pay for my new guitar, and I really wish I&#039;d chosen something else to sell as this mandolin is just such a wonderful instrument and a beautiful work of art as well!</description>

		<description>Hi all, new to banjo (and here) but been playing guitar for the last 20 years (admittedly quite badly, but i get by). I have various guitars from teles to les pauls and 12 string acoustics. Now i own a banjo as well....
only trouble im having is finding a local teacher to point me in the right direction. Living in Fife, Scotland and i cant find anyone nearby.
